Maziar Heidari
CEO & Advanced Piano Teacher
RCM Examiner, Advanced certified teacher, Conductor, Composer and Pianist Maziar holds a Master’s degree in Conducting from the University of Toronto. He is an Ontario-registered music teacher and an RCM advanced specialist in Piano designation.
Maziar works as a pianist for Orchestra Toronto (OT), as music director and conductor for the ICOT Symphony Orchestra and as a freelance educator, pianist, composer and conductor in Canada.
Houman Astaneha
Piano Teacher
Houman is a composer, pianist, and educator currently pursuing his Doctorate in Music Composition at the University of Toronto under Professor Gary Kulesha.
He works as a teaching assistant at the university and is an RCM-registered teacher. Houman is also a member of The Ontario Registered Music Teachers’ Association and remains active as a performer.
Richard Stewardson
Guitar, Theory, Harmony, History, Arranging and Composition
Mr. Stewardson has been a professional musician for over 40 years. Music–studying, performing, teaching, arranging, and composing is his life.
His goal as an educator is to help students reach the highest level they wish to achieve, using an approach that focuses on ease of learning, joy, and relaxation.
Tannaz Rahmati
Pianist, Piano and Music
Tannaz Rahmati is a professional pianist and music teacher. She began playing the piano at the age of 9 and has five years of teaching experience.
She is dedicated to teaching children, teenagers, and adults at all levels, from beginner to advanced.
Nasim Bakht
Guitar Teacher
As a classical guitarist and certified music therapist, Nasim Bakht has over 20 years of experience.
She holds a Bachelor’s in Music from the University of Art and Architecture and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology with a focus on music therapy and child development.

He has pursued extensive training in music composition, studying core subjects such as harmony, counterpoint, orchestration, and musical form under the guidance of renowned Iranian composer Maestro Farhad Fakhreddini.
Arvin Nabavi
Piano Teacher
Arvin is an accomplished piano performer and teacher, an Associate Diploma (ARCT) candidate in Piano Performance, the Royal Conservatory’s highest level. He works with various age groups and skill levels. As a performer, he’s achieved notable milestones.
He’s pursuing a bachelor’s at Toronto Metropolitan University. His goal as a piano teacher is to help students enjoy and grow in music.
Azadeh Korourian
Piano Teacher
Azadeh is an accomplished pianist and RCM registered teacher with an advanced certificate from The Royal Conservatory of Music. Her broad background enables her to teach a range of skills, with years of experience teaching children and adults at various levels.
As a dedicated educator, she aims to nurture creativity, artistry, and love for music in her students enjoyable.
Baran Shajari
Piano Teacher
Baran is an accomplished piano teacher and performer with the Advanced Piano Certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music. She works with all ages, especially children, and is an RCM-certified elementary-level teacher.
Her achievements in childhood musical development come from RCM courses. She’s pursuing a bachelor’s at York University, aiming to keep her students engaged and interested in their musical journey.

Piano Teacher
Ghazal is a passionate musician, an experienced pianist, and a registered teacher with the Royal Conservatory of Music, boasting an impressive portfolio. She has spent years honing her teaching craft to support students of all levels.
With a broad range of musical expertise, Ghazal offers personalized instruction tailored to each student, becoming the perfect accompaniment on their musical journey.
Linzy Kim
Fute Teacher
Korean-Canadian flutist Linzy Kim began studying music at age seven. After exploring various instruments, she was captivated by the flute.
She studied with Donelda Gartshore and graduated from Queen’s University in 2011. She won the Kingston Symphony Scholarship, 1st Prize at Kiwanis, was a Top 4 Concerto/Aria Finalist in 2010, and received Queen’s Performing Arts Award.
Maryam Khodabakhsh
Oud, Persian instruments
Maryam earned her BMus in Iranian music and M. Mus.. in oud from Tehran University and Tehran Art University in 2013. She refined her oud skills through masterclasses with Mohammad-Reza Ebrahimi.
Her performances have taken her to international venues in Australia, Germany, and beyond, with ensembles such as Mehrnavazan Hamsaz, Barbatian, Taal, and the Iranian International Orchestra. She teaches oud at Tehran Music School and the university of Applied Science and technology.
Mehdi Karbasi
Piano Teacher
Mehdi, an RCM registered teacher with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Dalhousie University, studied with Lynn Stodola and Tietje Zonneveld. He has performed solo and ensemble repertoire on various stages.
He values opportunities to work with talented individuals and enjoys creative interactions. Teaching has been part of his journey since school, working with students of all ages and levels. His goal is to foster a deep understanding and love of music while helping students develop their unique musical expression.
Niki Akbarian
Fute Teacher
Niki has been playing Classical and Persian piano from a young age and holds an Advanced Piano Certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music. She began her teaching journey by volunteering at the MusicBox Children’s Charity, which provides free music education to underprivileged children.
During this time, she obtained the RCM Piano Teacher Certificate, making her skilled at working with young students. Niki also completed undergraduate studies in Psychology and Physiology at the University of Toronto.
Saba Marzabadi
Violin Teacher
Saba Marzabadi, a passionate and versatile violinist, has a strong classical foundation and explores genres like Persian, ethnic, and jazz. A graduate of Earl Haig’s Claude Watson Arts Program and ARCT from the Royal Conservatory in 2020, she currently plays with Orchestra Toronto.
Her orchestral career spans Toronto’s music scene, with numerous performances and outreach concerts promoting accessibility. She won gold at the Unionville Music Competition as a violin soloist in 2017 and 2018.
